我司近期征集了一件“青花盘”，此盘口径为18.7cm，高2.8cm，底径9.7cm。此青花瓷器，敞口、斜腹、圈足，造型规整，端庄稳重，胎体坚细，釉面亮润。纹饰方面的特点是构图丰满，层次多而不乱。笔法以一笔点划多见，流畅有力；勾勒渲染则粗壮沉着。盘内花纹为莲花图案，早在宋代，莲花图案装饰瓷器已经十分普遍，在辽金时期瓷器上，莲花纹深受皇室喜爱，在瓷器装饰上多以剔花和模印为主，纹饰精美。到了明清时期，莲花纹在瓷器装饰中屡见不鲜，特别是青花瓷，以白地蓝花表现莲花更是别具一格。在古代莲花是佛门圣花，如佛、菩萨都以莲花为底座，是圣洁高雅的象征，官家则把莲花视为“为官清廉”。在民间老百姓把莲花比喻为“出污泥而不染”，同时莲花也是爱情的象征，寓意“莲生贵子”。
