    齐由来1934年出生于湖南湘潭白石故居寄萍堂老屋,是我国杰出的艺术大师齐白石的第10孙。其父齐子如乃白石三子,工笔草虫堪称一绝,深得老人厚爱。白石老人常与他合作,白石老人画花、子如画虫,父子搭档传为画坛佳话,台湾国际文人画家总会常务理事,中国国际书法研究会研究员,北京齐白石研究会副会长,湖南省美术馆画师,湖南科技大学齐白石艺术学院终身名誉院长,齐白石旧居寄萍堂主人,湖南湘潭齐白石研究院终身名誉院长。

    1989年其参加全国性的炎黄子孙书画大赛(王任重题签)一举夺得国画类特等奖。2000年5月24日,全国人大副委员长王光英,接见了齐由来先生,并题词,(扬民族文化,承白石神韵)。近二十年在广东、山东、辽宁、吉林等地举办过个人画展。2000年5月25日,人民大会堂收藏了齐白石第十孙齐由来先生两幅大作《百龙图》(百虾)、《百猫图》。并颁发了收藏证书。2003年复季中央领导人胡锦涛,曾庆红,刘云山孙家政等同志作留念。同时有著名国画家何海霞,田世光,陈大羽,黎雄才等先生与由来先生合作数幅并合影。胡锦涛同志欣赏其画,中央曾派人通过湖南省、市政府找到齐由来,嘱其为胡主席作了“硕果图”。此画人民日报所属《环球人物》杂志,经请示中央,已刊于2011年第26期封三之上。曾庆红、王光英、张万年、李肇星等中央首长均请其上京作画,并亲笔赠他题词,嘱其弘扬白石艺术。中共中央政治局前常委李岚清同志派人于2012年2月1日送他亲笔题字的自作画集《我为大师画素描》。齐由来回赠其《龙腾》(虾)画一幅。2012年开始,他的画风大变,在标新立异和删繁就简上大做文章,并有自作诗题于画上。天津美院前院长张蒲生评其画:“品位大提升”等等。  多年来,齐由来先生多次参加省级展览并多次在广州,长春,大连,深圳,上海,青岛,山东等举办个人画展,他的作品曾获炎黄子孙画展特等奖,并受到东南亚及欧美十多个国家和地区的广泛好评和收藏。《人民日报》《中国文化报》《南方日报》《光明日报》《羊城晚报》《湖南日报》《广州日报》《吉林日报》。中央电视台,广州电视台,长春电视台及香港《大公报》等数十家报刊电台对他的艺术成就作了专题报道。

    Qi Yulai was born in 1934 in the old house of Jipingtang, the former residence of Baishi in Xiangtan, Hunan. He is the 10th grandson of Qi Baishi, the outstanding art master in my country. His father, Qi Ziru, is the third son of Shiraishi. He is a master of fine brushwork and grass-worms and is deeply loved by the elderly. Old man Baishi often collaborates with him. Old man Baishi paints flowers and his son is like a painting bug. The father-son partnership is a legend in the painting world. He is the executive director of the Taiwan International Federation of Literary Painters and Painters, a researcher of the China International Calligraphy Research Association, and the vice president of the Beijing Qi Baishi Research Association, Hunan Province. Art museum painter, lifelong honorary president of Qi Baishi Art College of Hunan University of Science and Technology, owner of Jiping Hall, Qi Baishi's former residence, and lifelong honorary president of Qi Baishi Research Institute in Xiangtan, Hunan.

    In 1989, he participated in the national calligraphy and painting competition of the descendants of Yan and Huang (inscribed by Wang Renzhong) and won the special prize in the traditional Chinese painting category. On May 24, 2000, Wang Guangying, Vice Chairman of the National People's Congress, met with Mr. Qi Yulai and wrote an inscription, (Promote national culture, inherit the charm of Baishi). In the past twenty years, he has held personal exhibitions in Guangdong, Shandong, Liaoning, Jilin and other places. On May 25, 2000, the Great Hall of the People collected two masterpieces "One Hundred Dragons" (One Hundred Shrimps) and "One Hundred Cats" by Mr. Qi Yulai, the tenth grandson of Qi Baishi. And issued a collection certificate. In 2003, central leaders Hu Jintao, Zeng Qinghong, Liu Yunshan, Sun Jiazheng and other comrades took a souvenir. At the same time, famous Chinese painters He Haixia, Tian Shiguang, Chen Dayu, Li Xiongcai, etc. collaborated with Mr. Yu Lai on several paintings and took photos. Comrade Hu Jintao admired his paintings, and the central government sent people to find Qi Yuanyuan through the Hunan Provincial and Municipal Governments and asked him to make "Pictures of Fruitful Results" for Chairman Hu. This painting was published on the inside cover of the 26th issue of 2011 by "Global People" magazine, a subsidiary of People's Daily, after consulting the central government. Central leaders such as Zeng Qinghong, Wang Guangying, Zhang Wannian, and Li Zhaoxing all invited him to come to Beijing to paint, and personally gave him inscriptions instructing him to promote Baishi art. Comrade Li Lanqing, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, sent someone to give him a self-written collection of paintings titled "I Draw Sketch for the Master" on February 1, 2012. Qi You came back and presented him with a painting of "Dragon Soaring" (shrimp). Beginning in 2012, his painting style changed drastically. He made great efforts in being unconventional and cutting out the complex and simplifying it. He even wrote his own poems and inscribed them on his paintings. Zhang Pusheng, former president of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, commented on his paintings: "The taste has been greatly improved" and so on.

    Over the years, Mr. Qi Yulai has participated in many provincial exhibitions and held personal art exhibitions in Guangzhou, Changchun, Dalian, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Qingdao, Shandong, etc. His works have won the special prize in the Painting Exhibition of the Descendants of Yan and Huang, and have been well received by Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States. Widely praised and collected in more than ten countries and regions. "People's Daily", "China Culture News", "Nanfang Daily", "Guangming Daily", "Yangcheng Evening News", "Hunan Daily", "Guangzhou Daily" and "Jilin Daily". Dozens of newspapers and radio stations, including CCTV, Guangzhou TV, Changchun TV and Hong Kong's Ta Kung Pao, have made special reports on his artistic achievements.

    近期我公司征集了一幅齐由来的《龙腾》,典藏尺寸长96cm、宽43cm,画中六只虾,由疏到密,上面的三只虾像是好奇下面三只虾的活动,跃跃欲试。齐由来匠心独运,淡墨与浓墨的运用突出虾透明的身体与坚硬的螯钳,焦墨对虾眼的描绘更能凸显虾的精神,图中没有一点水痕,只有大片的留白,却能将虾的游动感表达得淋漓尽致。这幅画构图奇特,疏密有致,一气呵成,将画中上下紧密连接,六只虾就像长在纸上一样,它们在水中自由自在地游动,水墨淋漓,形态各异,栩栩如生,焕发出永恒的艺术之美。更有鲜艳的印章为这个水墨画增加了生气。

    Recently, our company collected a piece of "Dragon" by Qi Yulai. The size of the collection is 96cm long and 43cm wide. There are six shrimps in the painting, from sparse to dense. The three shrimps on top seem to be curious about the activities of the three shrimps below and eager to try. Qi Yulai's ingenious use of light and thick ink highlights the transparent body and hard claws of the shrimp. The depiction of the shrimp's eyes in burnt ink can highlight the spirit of the shrimp. There is no trace of water in the picture, only a large blank space. But it can express the swimming feeling of shrimp vividly. The composition of this painting is unique, dense and dense, and it is completed in one go. The upper and lower parts of the painting are closely connected. The six shrimps seem to grow on paper. They swim freely in the water, with dripping ink and different shapes, lifelike and glowing. Timeless artistic beauty. The bright seal adds vitality to this ink painting.

    齐由来寥寥几笔,用墨色的深浅浓淡,表现出一种动感。一对浓墨眼睛,脑袋中间用一点焦墨,左右二笔淡墨,于是使虾的头部变化多端。硬壳透明,由深到浅。而虾的腰部,一笔一节,连续数笔,形成了虾腰节奏由粗渐细。齐由来用笔的变化,使虾的腰部呈现各种异态,有躬腰向前的,有直腰游荡的,也有弯腰爬行的。虾的尾部也是寥寥几笔,既有弹力,又有透明感。虾的一对前爪,由细而粗,数节之间直到两螯,形似钳子,有开有合。虾的触须用数条淡墨线画出。对水中的虾,为了表现出透视感,齐由来的线条有虚有实,简略得宜,似柔实刚,似断实连,直中有曲,乱小有序,纸上之虾似在水中嬉戏游动,触须也像似动非动。齐由来画虾已入化境,以浓墨竖点为睛,横写为脑,落墨成金,笔笔传神。细笔写须、爪、大螯,刚柔并济、凝练传神,显示了画家高妙的书画功力。

    Qi Yulai uses only a few strokes and uses different shades of ink to express a sense of movement. A pair of thick ink eyes, a bit of burnt ink in the middle of the head, and two strokes of light ink on the left and right make the shrimp's head changeable. The hard shell is transparent, from dark to light. The waist of the shrimp is composed of one stroke and one stroke in a row, forming a rhythm of the shrimp waist gradually becoming thinner. The changes in Qi Yulai's pen made the shrimp's waist show various abnormal shapes, some were bowing forward, some were wandering with straight waist, and some were bent and crawling. The tail of the shrimp is also made with just a few strokes, making it both elastic and transparent. The pair of front claws of a shrimp range from thin to thick, between several segments and reach the two pincers. They are shaped like pliers, opening and closing. The tentacles of the shrimp are drawn with several light ink lines. For the shrimps in the water, in order to show the sense of perspective, Qi Yuan’s lines are both virtual and real, simple and appropriate, seeming soft but solid, seeming broken and connected, straight and curved, chaotic and orderly, the shrimps on the paper seem to be in the water. Playing and swimming, the tentacles seem to move but not move. Qi Yulai's painting of shrimps has entered the realm of transformation, using thick ink vertical dots as the eyes, horizontal writing as the brain, falling ink turning into gold, and vivid brushstrokes. The beard, claws, and pincers are written with fine brushstrokes, combining hardness and softness, concisely and vividly, showing the artist's superb calligraphy and painting skills.
