周元亮，字容庵。男，汉族，北京市人，1904年2月生。周元亮1912年进私塾读书并习书画。1920年考入北京中国画研究会，随陈师曾、汤定之、金北楼、萧谦中等学习中国画。周元亮1923年至1948年在北京、天津、上海等地举办个人画展，曾与王雪涛、吴镜汀等人举办联展，三十年代晶体在北京荣宝斋“挂笔单”以卖画为生。1949年以后作品多次参加国内外重大书画展览。周元亮作品构图严谨，写景稠密，画风清雅脱俗。兼工花卉，所画梅、竹清新隽秀。
Zhou Yuanliang, the character Rong 'an. Male, Han nationality, Beijing, born in February 1904. Zhou Yuanliang entered private school in 1912 and studied calligraphy and painting. In 1920, he was admitted to the Beijing Chinese Painting Research Association and studied Chinese painting with Chen Shizeng, Tang Dingzhi, Jin Beilou and Xiao Qianzhong. From 1923 to 1948, Zhou Yuanliang held solo exhibitions in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and other places, and held joint exhibitions with Wang Xuetao and Wu Jingting, etc. In the 1930s, Crystal sold paintings in Beijing Rongbaozhai "hanging pen sheet". Since 1949, his works have participated in many major calligraphy and painting exhibitions at home and abroad. Zhou Yuanliang's works have precise composition, dense landscape and elegant style. Working with flowers, the painting plum, bamboo fresh meaningful.

近期我公司征集了一幅周元亮的《静心》，纸本，墨笔，纵110厘米，横32厘米。全图构图巧妙，布局合理，用笔繁复而不失层次感，笔触生动有力，墨色变化丰富。周元亮不仅善于用笔，而且善于运用墨色，通过墨色的浓淡干湿来表现山水画中的层次感和空间感。行书题款“远观山有色，近听水无声。丁丑葭月仿黄鹤山樵笔 董其昌”，一气呵成，用墨高简，意到而笔不到，得以妙绝。
